Ⅰ. Symbol DS6708 two-dimensional barcode scanner does not work
1) Possible reason: The MOTO6708 2D barcode scanner is not powered.
Possible solution: Check the MOTO6708 barcode scanner system power supply to make sure the power is connected (if necessary).
2) Possible reason: The MOTO6708 barcode scanner uses an incorrect interface cable.
Possible solution: Make sure you are using the correct interface cable.
3) Possible reason: The interface/power cable is loose.
Possible solution: Make sure all cable connections are fixed.
Ⅱ. Symbol DS6708 barcode scanner can’t decode the barcode
1) Possible reason: The Symbol DS6708 barcode scanner was not programmed according to the barcode type.
Possible solution: Make sure the barcode scanner is programmed to read the type of bar code to be scanned.
2) Possible reason: The barcode is not readable.
Possible solution: Make sure the barcode is flawless and try to scan the test barcode with the same barcode type.
3) Possible reason: The distance between the MOTO6708 barcode scanner and the barcode is not suitable.
Possible solution: Move the barcode scanner closer to or away from the bar code.
Ⅲ. Symbol DS6708 barcode scanner is decoding the barcode, but has not yet transmitted the data to the host.
1) Possible reason: The MOTO6708 barcode scanner was not programmed with the correct host interface.
Possible solution: Scan the appropriate host parameter barcode.
2) Possible reason: The interface cable of the MOTO6708 2D scanner is loose.
Possible solution: Make sure all cable connections are fixed.
Ⅳ. The scanned data is not displayed correctly on the host.
Possible reason: The MOTO6708 barcode scanner was not programmed with the correct host interface.
Possible solution: Scan the appropriate host parameter barcode.
