Intermec combines industry-leading platform components, including the latest Microsoft embedded operating systems Windows Mobile 6.1 and Cisco Compatible Extensions (CCX) certification, ensuring seamless interoperability with Cisco wireless networks, providing powerful and reliable architecture to successfully extend enterprise applications to Intermec CK3.
To enable seamless migration from previous Intermec mobile computers, the CK3 handheld computer comes pre-loaded with Intermec TE2000 and iBrowse software, seamless integration with multiple warehousing and retail systems is quickly achieved when opening the package. The TE2000 is designed to optimize the performance of CK3 in a simulation environment and has been rigorously tested. It can connect CK3 to the host system through terminal emulation, and can support multi-host sessions, encryption, session persistence and a full set of data acquisition options. With iBrowse (a data collection browser) and a web application, you can take advantage of CK3's advanced imaging scanning and RFID capabilities while ensuring that users only have access to pre-approved websites.
To ensure fast and easy device deployment and maintenance, CK3 mobile computer also supports Intermec's SmartSystems. Connecting computers to the network remotely, completing various settings and installing software can not only ease the work of the IT department, but also lower the total cost of ownership.
