1. The Symbol MC9190 network interface controller is disabled by default and can be manually turned on, but it will be turned off when cold boot, so manually copy a registry (MC9100_default enable Wlan.reg) to the "Application" directory on the device to make the NIC is turned on when the device to restart.
2. NIC configuration steps
Click the NIC icon in the lower right corner and select "Manage Profiles"
Click and hold the screen in the blank space and select "Add" in the pop-up menu.
Enter the network name and SSID name MKCVLAN16 in "Profile Name" and "ESSID"
"Operating Mode" and "Country" use default values
"Security Mode" selects WPA2-Personal and "Authentication Type" use the default value
"Encryption Type" select TKI, "PSK" select Pass-phrase, "For added security" entered check, click Next
Enter your password in the password box
Remove the checkmark in front of "Obtain Device IP Address Automatically" and check the automatic assignment of IP addresses for DHCP
Enter the IP address mask and gateway
Wireless power default
Power mode default, then click "Save"
3. After the network configuration is completed, you can use PING to test whether the network is connected. The method is as follows: Click the NIC icon in the right corner, select Wireless Diagnostics in the pop-up menu, select ICMP PING in the pop-up window, and then in the IP field enter the IP address or domain name you want to PING, if the values of Total Tx and Total Rx below are the same, it means that it is connected.
4. Save network settings
After the network configuration is correct, you need to save the configuration of the network as a registry, so that the network configuration will not be lost after the device is cold booted. As below:Click the NIC icon, select "Opitons", and select "Export" from the drop-down box in the pop-up menu.
After selecting "Export", there are two options below, click "Export All Profiles"
Click "OK" in the pop-up window
