1. Manual clean boot
- Press and hold the power button and select suspend to hang.
- Remove the battery from the back of the terminal.
- Use the stylus to press the Reset button located on the left side of the battery compartment.
- Reinsert the battery and immediately press and hold the power button and the volume down button (right lower button).
- Press and hold the power button and the volume down button until you follow the on-screen instructions and prompt "Release Buttons".
- Press the volume up button on the right to accept the clean boot.
- Waiting for the terminal to load the file……
2. SmartSystem control
Right click on the Intermec 70 Series terminal and select Intermec Power Tools > Clean Boot Device.
3. Clean boot barcode
Clean Boot can be achieved by scanning the clean boot 2D barcode below.
4. Special manual Clean Boot- When the Intermec 70 Series terminal is in blue screen, it cannot be started.
- Place the device on an external power source that does not require a battery.
- Use the stylus to press the Reset button located on the left side of the battery compartment.
- Press and hold the power button and volume down button (lower right button) immediately.
- Press and hold the power button and the volume down button until you follow the on-screen instructions and prompt "Release Buttons".
- Press the volume up button on the right to accept Clean Boot.
- Waiting for the terminal to load the file……
