Fault 2: The Honeywell MS7120 makes a beep during power-on and flashes a blue LED.
Possible reason: The VLD has failed.
Possible solution: please contact the seller.
Fault3: The Honeywell MS7120 makes two beeps during the power on, and both LEDs flash at the same time.
Possible reason: The barcode scanning platform motor has failed.
Possible solution: please contact the seller.
Fault 4: The Honeywell MS7120 barcode scanner LED is not lit, etc., no beep, and the motor does not rotate.
Possible reason: The barcode scanning platform is not connected to any power source.
Possible solution: Check the transformer, power outlet, and power cable. Make sure the cable is plugged into the barcode scanning platform.
Fault 5: The MS7120 LED is not lit, and/or no beep.
Possible reason: The barcode scanning platform is not connected to any power supply between the hosts.
Possible solution: Some host systems provide insufficient power to allow Orbit to boot successfully. Please use the power supply included in the barcode scanning platform.
Fault 6: The power supply of Honeywell MS7120 is powered on but no beep
Possible reason 1: The beep indication function has been disabled.
Possible solution: Enable the beep indicator function.
Possible reason 2: No tone is selected.
Possible solution: Select a tone.
Fault 7: The MS7120 has been powered on but has not scanned and/or no beep.
Possible reason 1: The MS7120 is trying to scan for a specific symbol that has not been enabled.
Possible solution: The default is to enable UPC/EAN, Code39, and Interleaved 2 of 5, Code93, Code128 and Codabar. Confirm that the barcode type you want to read has been selected.
Possible reason 2: The barcode scanning platform has been set to the character length lock or minimum length, but the barcode to be scanned does not meet the set conditions.
Possible solution: Confirm that the barcode to be scanned does not meet the set conditions. Typical Non-UPC/EAN barcode, the barcode scanning platform has been preset to a minimum of four characters bar code.
Fault 8: The MS7120 scans the bar code, but then is locked until the end of the first scan (and then continuously lights up the white LED).
Possible reason: The barcode scanning platform is pre-configured to support some types of host signal exchange, but will not receive the signal.
Possible solution: If the barcode scanning platform has been set to support ACK/NAK, RTS/CTS, XON/XOFF or D/E, please confirm that the host cable and the host can correctly support the signal exchange.
Fault 9: The MS7120 scans, but the data transmitted to the host is incorrect.
Possible reason: The data format of the barcode scanning platform does not meet the requirements of the host system.
Possible solution: Confirm that the data format of the barcode scanning platform conforms to the format required by the host, and determine that the barcode scanning platform is connected to the correct host chain interface.
Fault 10: When bar code is displayed, multiple bar codes scanning are performed simultaneously.
Possible reason: The timeout setting of the same symbol is too short.
Possible solution: Set the interval of the same symbol timeout to a little longer.Frequently Asked Questions -
